Bet Types
There are five ways to play Pick-4:
- Straight: Win by matching the winning numbers drawn in the EXACT ORDER.
- Box: Win by matching the numbers drawn in ANY ORDER. Box can be played as:
4-Way Box: Choose a four-digit number with three of the same digits, e.g. 1112.
6-Way Box: Chose a four-digit number with two pairs of digits the same, e.g. 1122.
12-Way Box: Choose a four-digit number with two digits the same, e.g. 1123.
24-Way Box: Choose a four-digit number with four unique digits, e.g. 1234. - Straight/Box: This is simply the Straight and Box types combined in one purchase. You win the Straight AND Box prizes by matching the winning numbers drawn in EXACT ORDER. Win the Box prize if you match the winning numbers in ANY ORDER.
Because this combines two bet types in one, the minimum play costs $1 based on a 50 cent base wager (50 cents for Straight and 50 cents for Box). If you add FIREBALL, the minimum bet increases to $2. - Wheel: An easy way to play all possible Straight combos of your four numbers. You win if you match the numbers drawn in ANY ORDER. This is a combination play type, so the base wager amount is multipled by the number of potential combinations.
Wheel can be played as:
4-Way Wheel: Pick a four-digit number with three of the digits the same, e.g. 1112.
6-Way Wheel: Choose a four-digit number with two identical pairs of digits, e.g. 1122.
12-Way Wheel: Select a four-digit number with two digits the same, e.g. 1123.
24-Way Wheel: Choose a four-digit number with four unique digits, e.g. 1234. - Pair Bets: Select two numbers. You win by matching the first two (Front Pair), OR the last two (Back Pair) winning numbers drawn.
